Then the marketing got out of control and now you can purchase calorie reduced popcorn, flavoured popcorn, butter or no butter, cheddar or blue cheese, oh and do you want white cheddar or orange? ... the list goes on and on. In fact, in your grocery store aisle, there are many shelves dedicated to brands of popcorn. Not to mention the pop up kiosks in every mall in town where you can buy pre-made popcorn, again in every variety and flavour. Should I even go to the place where you buy popcorn at the movie theatre and have to mortgage your house to pay for it?
